Ingredients and allergens

Ingrediets: split peas, pumpkin, tomatoes, onion, coriander, tamarind, raw sugar, rice bran oil, chilli, ginger, garlic, cumin, turmeric, lemon

Heating and serving

Heating instructions

Defrost completely. Reheat gently in a saucepan over medium-low heat, stirring occasionally, until piping hot throughout. Add a splash of water if the dal becomes too thick.

Serving suggestions

Serve with steamed basmati rice, warm naan or roti, a spoonful of yoghurt and plenty of fresh coriander. Add mango chutney, pickles and a squeeze of lemon for a bit of extra zing.

Storage

Keep frozen. Once defrosted, eat within 48 hours.
