Ingredients and allergens

Pork and beef mince, brown onion, streaky bacon (pork), carrot, breadcrumbs (wheat), egg, red capsicum, celery, tomato paste, tomatoes, olive oil, parsley, garlic, fresh basil, salt, thyme and nutmeg. Contains: Wheat (gluten), Egg.

Heating and serving

Heating Instructions

Defrost completely in the refrigerator. Preheat oven to 180°C. Remove all plastic packaging and place the meatloaf in an ovenproof dish. Roast for 40–50 minutes, or until cooked through and the centre reaches 75°C. Allow to rest for 10 minutes before slicing.

Heat the tomato sugo separately in a saucepan over gentle heat until piping hot.

Serving Suggestions

Cut into generous, thick slices and spoon over the rich tomato sugo. Serve with buttery mashed potatoes and steamed greens. Any leftovers make wonderful sandwiches the following day.

Storage

Keep frozen. Once defrosted, eat within 48 hours.
